Landmarks & Originals

Four venues that exist nowhere else: a fort guarding the harbor entrance, the 1880 Newport Casino, America's oldest lending library, and a gallery of collector cars. Each costs a fraction of a mansion Saturday.

Before you book

These are institutions first, so read the rules closely. Fort Adams sites start near $5,000 through its Trust and most outdoor spots need tents; the Tennis Hall of Fame rents by the 4 hour block and allows BYO alcohol with a licensed server; the Redwood folds a prior day rehearsal into every package. On catering, read each one: Fort Adams and the Audrain take any outside caterer, the Tennis Hall works from an approved list, and the Redwood quotes on inquiry.
